For people making things, shaping culture and asking what faithfulness looks like here.
ENTER THE ROOM →“Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you… and pray to the Lord on its behalf.” Jeremiah 29:7
Faithful presence means refusing both withdrawal and assimilation. We are here to seek the good of the places God has put us.
A monthly gathering exploring theology, formation, creativity, culture and vocation. We bring people from different fields into the same room to ask how following Jesus changes the way we imagine, build, lead and create.

Faith becomes disconnected from the places where life and culture are actually being shaped.
Deeply formed by Jesus. Fully present in the world. Creating, building and contributing for the good of others.
We participate, but eventually become indistinguishable from everything around us.

A conversation with Lanaire Aderemi about creativity, formation, culture and the life behind the work.
ENTER THE ROOM →Come curious. Come with questions. Come ready to listen and contribute. Hopefully, we leave seeing our work differently.
Creative Edge is an expression of Axis, a gospel-centred community cultivating apprentices of Jesus for faithful presence in the city.
Creative Edge is being built by people who believe formation, vocation and faithful presence matter. Giving is one way to participate in that vision.
Help make the work possible.
Help extend the vision and the rooms we can create.
Help sustain the long-term work of formation and cultural contribution.
Creative Edge is a monthly gathering exploring theology, formation, creativity, culture and vocation. It is a place to think seriously about the work in our hands and the people we are becoming while we do it.
A creative minority is a community formed deeply enough to live differently and courageous enough to create differently. We are not called to withdraw from culture or simply mirror it. We want to be rooted in Jesus, present in our city and generous with what we make.
Separatism retreats from culture. Syncretism loses its distinctiveness inside culture. Faithful presence offers another way: participating fully without surrendering the formation and convictions that make Christian witness distinct.
No. Culture is shaped by far more than the creative industries. Founders, teachers, engineers, designers, writers, policymakers, entrepreneurs, operators and professionals all make things, shape systems and influence what our cities become.
Vocation is bigger than a job title. Our ordinary work can become an arena of worship, stewardship, service and witness. Creative Edge asks what it means to follow Jesus through the work already in our hands.
Jeremiah 29 gives us a picture of people seeking the welfare of the place where God has put them. We want our faith to turn outward, toward the flourishing of our neighbours, institutions, industries and city.
We are not only interested in producing better work. We care about the kinds of people our work is making us. Formation asks what is shaping our desires, habits, ambitions and character as we create and lead.
Conversation, questions, formation and community. Each room brings people across disciplines together around a guest, an idea and the questions beneath the work.

People deeply rooted in Jesus and deeply present in their world. People who think carefully, create beautifully, work excellently and use what is in their hands for the good of others. A creative minority.
SEEK THE GOOD OF THE CITY.
